The scope later expanded through experience in medicine, hospital environments, psychiatric care and executive leadership in healthcare organizations. In 2025, EKLYSIS LLC was established in Pennsylvania, consolidating its U.S. institutional base and its work between two market contexts.

Trained initially as an agronomist, he began his career in 1986 in the agrochemical divisions of Shell Brasil and Uniroyal Chemical. After graduating from medical school in 1996, he completed residency training in general surgery and developed extensive experience caring for patients with multiple traumatic injuries, where prioritization, coordination and consequential decisions frequently occur under incomplete information.
Licensed to practice medicine in Brazil and Portugal, he also served as a medical officer in the Brazilian Air Force and later held managerial and executive roles in healthcare organizations. His education includes an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas, an MBA in Leadership from Centro Universitário Filadélfia and a Master of Theology focused on the mental health of Protestant pastors.
